In 1875 this time Henry was an editor and reporter for the St. Joseph, MO Gazette, and a future lawyer, judge and school board president in the making. This was after Henry and his family had moved from Richmond, VA to St. Joseph after the Civil War. In Richmond Henry worked as a printer, reporter and had been a prison guard in the infamous Confederate Libby Prison that held Union Solider prisoners.
