Brief Biography: article from the St. Joseph Gazette Oct 6, 1909: Dr. Busey Local Visitor, Formerly Connected With Hospital For Insane. Dr. A.P. Busey, a former Platte county man, and at one time an assistant physician in State Hospital for the Insane No. 2, is visiting friends in St. Joseph. Doctor Busey has for the last ten years been connected with the Colorado Insane Hospital at Pueblo, as superintendent, and is considered one of the most able allenists in the United States. Doctor Busey married Miss Catlett, a daughter of the first superintendent of the asylum at St. Joseph. |
