Mrs. Josephine K. McMachen, seventy-nine years old, widow of Samuel D. McMachen, a contracting painter in St. Joseph for many years, died this morning at a local hospital. Her home was at 21711 Delaware street. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but had spent most of her life in St. Joseph. Mrs. McMachen is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruby McClure and Mrs. Lovey Smith of St.Joseph, and Mrs. Virginia Waller, Larned, Kan.; a son, John H. McMachen, St. Joseph ; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. St. Joseph body is at Heaton-BeGole & Bowman Mortuary. |
