Brief Biography: St. Joseph Gazette Dec 5, 1941 Harry J. Clayton services will be at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Heaton-BeGole & Bowman mortuary, Dr. E.B. Whitcomb officiating. Pallbearers will be Frank Sherman, O. Becker, R. Brace, T. Beede, Walter Tripp and Joseph Moyles. Burial will be in the Mount Mora Cemetery. Mr. Clayton, seventy-five years old, a clothing salesman for the Derge-Bodenhausen Clothing Company for forty years, died suddenly yesterday morning at the store following a heart attack. Mrs. Clayton, who was a railroad man before coming to St. Joseph, was born in Pittsfield, Ill, and had lived in Bowen, Ill., and Chicago, Ill. He is survived by his wife Emily Clayton of the home, 1008 Dewey avenue, and a siter, Mrs. C.B. Taylor, Long Beach, Cal.
